January/February Only. Saturday/Sunday. 2014 season runs January 4 – March 3 – Sells out fast – don’t wait to book your tickets.

A fantastic weekend trip escaping the sultry heat of Buenos Aires in the riverside town that knows how to throw a party. Seriously, this carnival rivals Rio de Janeiro without the massive crowds and ticket prices and we know both carnivals well.  We take care of your front row tickets to Gualeguaychu Carnival (Seat location dependent on availability).

Pick up at Buenos Aires hotel and drive 2 1/2 hours north through the pampas to Gualeguaychu on the Parana River. Tour of  town. Tickets and transport to and from Carnival corsodromo. Return Buenos Aires. Includes Boutique accommodation

INQUIRE NOW about your private guided tour to Carnival

Gualeguaychu is a tiny town, you will feel you are in Cuba of the 1950s, hence hotels fill out quickly and there are only a few worth staying at. Because this is summer vacation season for Argentines, those hotels generally stipulate a minimum stay of 3, 5, or 7 nights. Should we be unable to accommodate hotel reservations, there are a couple of options we suggest in order to take advantage of the carnival Argentina experience.

Option 1. We transport you for a weekend stay at an Estancia close to Entre Rios province and transfer you to carnival from the Estancia. This has to be a weekend excursion as we cannot arrive at the Estancia long after midnight but it’s a great way to wind down after the excitement of Carnival with a parilla BBQ on Sunday before your transfer back to Buenos Aires.

Option 2. This is a great option for the hardier soul and one we run frequently – Take the Gualeguaychu carnival experience in ONE DAY. Transfers in and out of Gualeguaychu from Buenos Aires and entry to Carnival, returning immediately after the party and before the town gets rowdy. A long day but an unforgettable one!
